Robert Jacobi is the CXO at Blackwall, a company specializing in AI cybersecurity and compliance. In this role, he leads initiatives focused on securing AI infrastructure, strengthening regulatory readiness, and developing security strategies for advanced digital environments. His work places him at the forefront of AI security, infrastructure resilience, and compliance innovation. Robert has spent more than 20 years as an open source executive, entrepreneur, strategist, and evangelist. He has worked with startups, hosting companies, and Fortune 500 organizations to increase revenue, build market awareness, and scale technology adoption across the web infrastructure ecosystem. He previously served as Director of WordPress at Cloudways, where he played a key role in the company's $350 million acquisition by DigitalOcean. Earlier in his career, Robert was Executive Vice President at Perfect Dashboard, working with major web hosting providers to automate website updates for security and performance. Perfect Dashboard was acquired by WP Engine in 2020. Robert also founded Arc Technology Group in 2000, which became one of North America's leading Joomla consultancies for more than 15 years. Its clients included major enterprise organizations such as Microsoft, Abbott Laboratories, and Eli Lilly. A respected international speaker and contributor, Robert is deeply involved in the open source and hosting communities.
