Bergþóra Halldórsdóttir currently serves as General Counsel and Head of Policy at Borealis Data Center ehf. In this role, she leverages her expertise in legal and policy matters to help guide the company's strategic direction within the data center industry. With a strong background in law, regulation, and public policy, Bergþóra brings valuable perspective to discussions around digital infrastructure, compliance, resilience, and the evolving regulatory landscape. Her work bridges legal strategy and business operations, supporting Borealis as it navigates the growing demands placed on modern data centers. Bergþóra holds an M.L. degree in law from Reykjavík University and has also completed a diploma in French from Aix-Marseille Université. Earlier in her career, she served as a prosecuting attorney in tax matters at the Office of the Special Prosecutor, worked as a specialist at the Icelandic Competition Authority, and provided legal assistance to the election observation committee of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. At the Atlas Digital Summit, Bergþóra brings deep legal and policy expertise to the conversation around AI, regulation, resilience, and the new rules shaping digital infrastructure.
