•[Security Track] A working session on how the open source projects behind AI platforms are governed, what hosting leaders look for before depending on one, and how companies gain a voice in the projects they rely on — AI platforms run on Linux and a long list of other open source projects, and each of those projects is governed differently. Some are led by neutral foundations, some by a commercial company, and some by a small group of maintainers. In this executive roundtable, hosting and infrastructure leaders will compare how they evaluate the projects they depend on, including governance, maintainer health, license and trademark terms, security response, and new obligations under the EU Cyber Resilience Act. The discussion also covers how companies gain a voice in those projects through sponsorship, engineering time, and leadership.
